iWasteNot.com is a free service with a local focus that helps people give away or sell things that might otherwise end up in a landfill.
The site also provides:
- information on reuse or appropriate disposal of many items and materials
- directories of local environmental organizations, green businesses and charities
- information on greener lifestyle options
- a gathering place for like-minded people in the community to meet and share information.
The Premise
We believe that more people would act to reduce their impact on the environment if it was just a bit easier. Our goal is to provide tools at the community level to help people eliminate waste and live a little greener.
